light emitted by both headlamp dipped beam bulbs is very blue

both headlamps stopped working during test, malfunction shown on dash. Turned vehicle off, lock/unlock to reset, the lamps began working again. Suspect bulbs to be incompatible with vehicle bulb failure system. Likely to fail while driving.
